When you reach a Crossroads...
For those who are passionate about sewing and all things quilting...
Inspired by the disappearing 4 patch method, which is so versatile with whatever size square you are starting with, I got to thinking about how it could be varied by changing the placement of colours and cutting points.
This listing is for the PDF file Quilt Pattern for my Crossroads Quilt and also includes the bonus cushion instructions too,
which I have made in a dark background to show the different effects that are possible. They are also available separately as 2 different patterns.
Approximate finished size of quilt is 54 1/2" square, and the cushion is 17 1/2" square.
I have tried to make the instructions and diagrams as clear and colourful as possible. Should you have any questions after purchase I would be happy to help and love to see everyone's quilts, so please feel free to contact me through Etsy or on Instagram @plaincreations.
The fabric requirements for the quilt are 8 fat or long quarters, 2m of background fabric, 1/2m of border fabric (same as the background in the made up quilt), 40cm fabric for binding plus backing and binding.
The fabrics used in the original quilt top image is from the Moda Grunge range. This pattern assumes you have some basic knowledge of Patchwork and Quilting.
